From Kl Sentral To Bukit Bintang Faq
Be it going to your hotel in Bukit Bintang, Changkat Bukit Bintang, Times Square, Pavillion, Lot 10, Sungai Wang Plaza, Imbi Plaza or Jalan Alor food street, if you want to go from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang, the easiest and cheapest way is to take the Rapid KL Monorail train.
Monorail Train from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang Area
Start your journey at KL Sentral Monorail Station. If you are arriving at KL Sentral via KLIA Express Train, walk across the NU Sentral Mall which is located between KL Sentral main building and the Monorail Station. From there you can purchase your Monorail train ticket to Bukit Bintang. The fares range from RM1.60 to RM2.10 because are are three Monorail stations in the Bukit Bintang area. Here are the stations to get off depending on your destination.
KL Sentral to Times Square / Imbi Plaza
For those of you who want to visit Times Square or Imbi Plaza, get off at Imbi Station, which is located directly in front of Times Square. The Monorail Ticket Fare from KL Sentral to Imbi Station is RM1.60 only (one way).
KL Sentral to Sungai Wang / Bukit Bintang Plaza, Lot 10, Pavillion, Changkat Bukit Bintang, Jalan Alor, Low Yat Plaza
If your destination is Changkat Bukit Bintang, Food Republic, Pavillion, Jalan Alor, Low Yat Plaza, Sungai Wang Plaza, Bukit Bintang Plaza or LOT 10, you can get off at Bukit Bintang Station. The Monorail train ticket from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang Station is RM2.10 per way.
Pavillion – From Bukit Bintang Station
For Pavillion, you need to walk for about 400 meters to get there. You can see how the main entrance looks like in the photo below.
Pavillion – From Raja Chulan Station
Alternatively, you can also get off at the next station, Raja Chulan Station to go Pavillion from the other end of the building. Both the fare and the walking distance is the same as getting off at the Bukit Bintang Station.

Taxi to Bukit Bintang from KL Sentral
If you prefer less hassle and want to be drop off at the doorstep of your hotel, you can take a taxi from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang. The taxi fare is reasonable. For budget taxi, the fare is about RM11 to RM17 for about 6 km of driving. For blue colour executive taxi, the taxi fare is slightly higher at RM18 to RM25 for slightly larger space and comfort.
From Bukit Bintang back to KL Sentral
You can also take the same Monorail train to go back to KL Sentral from Bukit Bintang. Just hop on the Monorail Train at the station nearest to you, be it Imbi Station, Bukit Bintang Station or Raja Chulan Station in the direction heading to KL Sentral. Get off the monorail train at the last station, which is KL Sentral.
