KLIA Express Train From KL Sentral to KLIA2
You can choose either KLIA Express Train or Skybus to go to KLIA2 from KL Sentral. Although Skybus is cheaper, it is slower and may be affected by traffic jam in town. Here are the details on how to take KLIA Express Train from KL Sentral to Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 (KLIA2).

Fare for KLIA Express Train from KL Sentral to KLIA2
The One-way fare for KLIA Express Train is RM35.00 for adult and RM15.00 for Children between 2 to 12 years old (infant below 2 travels for free).
Concessional fare (30% discount of normal KLIA Express fare) are available for Malaysian senior citizens (55 years old and above, MyKad required), disabled (with OKU card issued by the Malaysia Social Welfare Department) and university students who hold Kad Diskaun Siswa 1 Malaysia.
Frequent Traveller between KL Sentral and KLIA2 can also take advantage of EasyCard (RM350) which offers 11 trips at the price of 10 trips (note that the card is only valid for one year).
As a public transport by rail, KLIA Express train fare is exempted from GST (Goods and Services Tax) by Royal Malaysian Custom.
Travel Time, Frequency and Timetable for KLIA Express from KL Sentral to KLIA2
The KLIA Express Train trip from KL Sentral to KLIA2 takes only 33 minutes, compared to more than an hour if you are using Skybus.
The frequency of the train is every 15 minutes during peak hours (06:00am to 09:00am and 4:00pm-10:00pm on weekdays) and every 20 minutes during off-peak hours. The KLIA Express Train Service starts at 5am and ends at 12.40am.The complete timetable for KLIA Express service from KL Sentral to KLIA2 is as below. Flight check-in at KL Sentral
Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Emirates and ETIHAD Airway offer flight check-in prior to boarding KLIA Express at KL Sentral. However, these airlines mostly operates from KLIA and not KLIA2. If your flight departs from KLIA2, it is very likely that you can only check-in at KLIA2. Alternatively, you can also do web or online check-in as most airlines offers convenient online or web check-in now.
KLIA Transit Train from KL Sentral to KLIA2?
You may notice that there is another service called KLIA Transit Train that goes from KL Sentral to KLIA2. The difference between KLIA Transit Train and KLIA Express Train is that KLIA Transit Trains stops at 4 stations along the way before arriving at KLIA. The journey to KLIA2 is 39 minutes (6 minutes longer due to the stops) and the price is the same. However, KLIA Transit starts earlier at 4.33am and ends earlier at 12.03am. KLIA Transit is also less frequent compared to KLIA Express. The frequency of KLIA Transit is 20 minutes during peak hours and 30 minutes during off peak hours. Therefore, if you are a traveller who simply wants to go from KL Sentral to KLIA2, it is recommended that you choose KLIA Express instead of KLIA Transit.
