How to get to KL Sentral to Low-cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) Kuala Lumpur?
The most convenient and cheapest way is to catch the SKYBUS right in front of the LCCT Main Entrance (See the Figure Below).
All you have to do is to show your SKYBUS pass when boarding the bus. The pass or ticket can be bought when boarding the bus. You can also buy it from all Airasia or Airasia X flight or online when you bought your flight tickets at airasia.com. The cost is only RM9 per person (approximately US$3). There are two destination for SKYBUS from LCCT, one to KL Sentral while the other one to 1Utama (Damansara area). The destination are clearly displayed on the bus. You don’t have to worry about hopping onto the wrong bus.
The ride from LCCT to KL Sentral will take approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. The departure frequency is 30 minutes at (15 minutes pass and to every hour, e.g. 8.15am, 8.45am). Upon arrival at KL Sentral, you will be dropped off at the main entrance/exit of KL Sentral. This is the same place where passenger taking KLIA express from KLIA get off their express train. (see the figure below).
SKYBUS service from LCCT to KL Sentral is a good option to get to downtown Kuala Lumpur as a taxi ride would easily cost more than RM80.
